Dr. Maisha Gray-Diggs (Dr. MGD) holds the unique distinction of being one of a few engineering leaders who pivoted to ascend the ranks of talent acquisition leadership. Her engineering, research, development and human resource experiences combine to deliver real value to organizations on a global scale by driving growth, advancing innovation and executing winning approaches to build people, grow organizational capability, build capacity, and optimize processes and systems. Her work is informed by a wealth of experience inside of several Fortune 500 companies across the CPG and tech sectors.
Currently, Dr. MGD is the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition at Twitter, Inc. She is a change agent at the forefront in the “war for talent” who navigates ambiguity and wields an innate ability to “sense and respond” dynamically. Dr. MGD believes that to whom much is given, much is expected. As such, she continues to share her time, talents, and treasures with organizations focused on topics close to her heart which include equity and access for the underrepresented; eye, organ and tissue donation; youth empowerment; and STE[A]M.
She is currently a MIT Club of Northern California board member; Special Director of the Society of Women Engineers; and an Ambassador to Donor Network West. Additionally she serves as the Chapter Editor for the Oakland Bay Area Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and Team Manager for the 2010 U12 Girls and Boys Soccer Teams of the Piedmont Soccer Club. MGD enjoys spending quality time with her children and exploring new frontiers as a continuous learner.
